What is the SME portfolio?
The SME portfolio is a subsidy measure that provides you as an entrepreneur with financial support for the purchase of services from registered service providers that improve the quality of your company.
The advice in the report allows you to make correct and fundamentally substantiated decisions for your SME. These are written recommendations that analyse a problem, provide concrete advice, help draw up an implementation plan and/or provide guidance in providing it.
At Expertmedia you can get specific strategic or general advice on
Business strategy
determining the direction and structure of an enterprise to achieve its strategic business objectives;
Job-specific competencies
the theoretical or practical knowledge and skills required in a particular technical field to perform the core tasks of a job or profession;
Digitalization
the use of digital technologies, innovations and data that lead to new activities or changes in existing activities in the field of hardware, software, online applications and cybersecurity;
Innovation
the introduction of new techniques or insights in response to a specific technological knowledge question about a product, process or service;
Internationalization
the policy to stimulate, support and promote international entrepreneurship by Flemish companies;
Example: Advisory Report for External Communications
This advice should contribute to achieving organizational and/or marketing goals. To achieve these goals, you must take into account the attitude – and therefore image – that the target group has towards the client or its brands.
A communication plan that does not take into account the image of the client will not work. And a communication plan that does not contribute to organizational goals is not worth investing money and other resources in.
Communication
Roughly speaking, the field of communication can be divided into External Communication and Internal Communication.
External Communication can be divided into Marketing Communication and Corporate Communication.
Marketing communication is primarily aimed at buyers of goods and services. Corporate communication is aimed at all other target groups.
The subsidy is accessible to SMEs established in the Flemish Region. SMEs are companies with a maximum of 250 employees, a maximum turnover of €50,000,000 and a maximum balance sheet total of €43,000,000. This is examined at group level. SMEs that are owned by larger companies or have more than 25% government capital are excluded from the subsidy.
How much is the subsidy?
The subsidy rate and the annual subsidy ceiling vary depending on the size of the company.
- Small businesses (up to 50 employees, max. 10 million euros turnover) receive 30% support with a ceiling amount of 7,500 euros (training budget is 25,000 euros)
- Medium-sized enterprises (50 to 250 employees, max. 50 million euros turnover) receive 20% support with a ceiling amount of 7,500 euros
