Cost price

There are many misunderstandings about the cost price of a webshop and the interview with the Vrt could also leave a wrong impression. Therefore, here is an overview of the budgets:

  • free : there are even quite a few free options online. That's right. Disadvantages of these platforms are however:
    •  no house style: the site will never look like your company's existing website, which will result in an inconsistent communication style
    • no special features
    • There is no such thing as free, so watch out for hidden costs or expensive commissions on realised sales
  • 1500 € or 89 € per month : we can start a standalone webshop for that budget that follows the existing house style and contains all the basic functionalities of a webshop
  • 4000 € : we can create a fully integrated webshop for that budget, including a completely new website
  • 20.000 € : are there web shops of €20,000 and more? absolutely… but then we are talking about complex web shops that are linked to internal production or accounting systems, for example, or web shops with very complicated logistical or product technical requirements and processes
